The company’s $17.5 million investment will create 50 new jobs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The company’s new site is located at 1446 S. Buncombe Road in Greer. United Composite Materials will use the property’s existing two facilities as specialized manufacturing plants to supply the North American sports and leisure composite markets with advanced carbon composite material.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Operations are expected to be online in July 2026. The company’s $4.75 million investment will create 63 new jobs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Offering both commercial and residential solutions, NSP Panels markets and produces acoustic absorptive and decorative wall panels and accessories for floors, walls and ceilings.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The company is starting in a 129,000-square-foot facility, located at 3630 W. Highway 76 in Mullins, to manufacture premium acoustic and decorative panels and moldings for the North American market.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Operations are already online. The approximately $40 million investment will create 50 new jobs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Founded in 2003, Georg Utz, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Switzerland-based Utz Group, a family-owned company with over 75 years of experience in the manufacturing of returnable plastic containers, pallets, component holders and custom solutions. Georg Utz, Inc. currently operates a manufacturing facility in Indiana.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The company will construct a 90,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, located at Race Track Road and U.S. Highway 521 in Sumter, which will produce rigid returnable packaging.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Operations are expected to be online in 2028. The company’s $63 million investment will create 13 new jobs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Founded in 1929, Hydrite offers a wide range of sustainable solutions that keep food safe, water clean and plants thriving through its three distinct business units: Food &amp;amp; Beverage Solutions, Manufactured Solutions, and Agriculture &amp;amp; Sulfur Solutions. In addition to the Laurens County plant, the company operates a network of manufacturing facilities, warehouses and laboratories located in California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Texas.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Located in the Hunter Industrial Park in Laurens, the 43-acre greenfield site will serve as the future hub of Hydrite operations in the Southeast region, which includes the recently acquired operations of Enterprise Specialty Products, Inc. At the greenfield site, Hydrite will build a 50,000-square-foot facility with offices, laboratories, warehouses, and operations and logistics spaces to be used for chemical manufacturing and distribution.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Operations are expected to be online in 2028. The company’s $11.6 million investment will create 25 new jobs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Headquartered in Italy, Huwell has produced hair products for more than 60 years. The company is a private label manufacturer of lighteners and is one of the world’s leading providers of bleaching powders. Huwell also distributes raw materials for the formulation of cosmetic products.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Huwell’s new 120,000 square-foot facility, located at 14 Commerce Drive in Gaffney, will produce lighteners for a wide range of customers from large, well-established brands to smaller, independent cosmetic companies. Once renovations are complete, the new manufacturing plant will provide the Italian company with greater access to the U.S. market.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Operations are expected to be online in June 2026. &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;COLUMBIA, S.C.&lt;/strong&gt; – JGB Brothers LLC (JGB Brothers), a food fibers manufacturer, today announced it is establishing operations in Bamberg County. The company’s $7 million investment will create 40 new jobs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;JGB Brothers is a subsidiary of &lt;a href="https://interfiber.com/" data-entity-type="external"&gt;InterFiber&lt;/a&gt;, a family-owned and operated manufacturer headquartered in Poland. For more than 20 years, InterFiber has been creating innovative and effective solutions that result in new product improvement and reduction of production costs with a final goal of improving the nutritional value of food products.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The company’s initial investment supports its new facility located at 66 Innovation Drive in Bamberg. The manufacturing site will be used to produce plant-sourced food fibers, which are used as additives in human and pet food, and have extensive applications for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and building materials.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Operations are expected to be online in late 2026.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded a $200,000 Set-Aside grant to Bamberg County to assist with the costs of building improvements.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;“The InterFiber Group proudly announces a groundbreaking milestone — the acquisition of a brand-new manufacturing site in Bamberg, South Carolina. Under this momentous project, we will eventually invest a total of over $36 million covering the acquisition and outfitting of this new facility. The new state-of-the-art plant will feature fully robotic production lines, setting new standards for automation, precision and efficiency in food fiber manufacturing. Alongside the plant, we are also planning to establish a modern R&amp;amp;D and Application Center that will serve as a springboard for developing next-generation solutions for the food and pet food industries. This investment is part of InterFiber’s strategy to expand our global manufacturing capability. The brand-new facility is expected to generate a substantial number of jobs and production will utilize locally sourced agricultural raw materials.
