COLUMBIA, S.C. – United Composite Materials, LLC (United Composite Materials), an advanced carbon composite materials manufacturer, today announced it selects Greenville County for its first South Carolina operation. The company’s $17.5 million investment will create 50 new jobs.

The company’s new site is located at 1446 S. Buncombe Road in Greer. United Composite Materials will use the property’s existing two facilities as specialized manufacturing plants to supply the North American sports and leisure composite markets with advanced carbon composite material.

Offering both commercial and residential solutions, NSP Panels markets and produces acoustic absorptive and decorative wall panels and accessories for floors, walls and ceilings.

The company is starting in a 129,000-square-foot facility, located at 3630 W. Highway 76 in Mullins, to manufacture premium acoustic and decorative panels and moldings for the North American market.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Shamrock Technologies, Inc. (Shamrock), a global leader in specialty additives, today announced it is relocating its corporate headquarters as part of the company’s expansion in Laurens County. The company’s $39.6 million investment will create 57 new jobs.

Shamrock produces and distributes micronized wax and other specialty additives used in coatings, inks, greases and lubricants. The company established operations in South Carolina in 2022 with the purchase of a manufacturing facility that produces micronized wax, dispersions, emulsions and related products.

Shamrock’s new facility will be located at 101 Connexial Blvd. in Gray Court. Upon completion of offices, research and development labs, a pilot plant, and a fully functioning warehouse and production space, the company will relocate its New Jersey headquarters to the South Carolina site.

JGB Brothers is a subsidiary of InterFiber, a family-owned and operated manufacturer headquartered in Poland. For more than 20 years, InterFiber has been creating innovative and effective solutions that result in new product improvement and reduction of production costs with a final goal of improving the nutritional value of food products.

The company’s initial investment supports its new facility located at 66 Innovation Drive in Bamberg. The manufacturing site will be used to produce plant-sourced food fibers, which are used as additives in human and pet food, and have extensive applications for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and building materials.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ironline Metals, a precision manufacturer of steel framing products, today announced it is expanding its operations in Hampton County. The company’s $6.5 million investment will create 20 new jobs.

Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Ironline Metals produces cold-formed steel framing products using innovative manufacturing technologies.

The company is expanding its existing facility, located at 39 Jenks St. in Yemassee, where it will continue to manufacture steel studs, metal decks, fasteners and ties.
